The Alan Kirkbride Memorial Poetry Gathering "Come Spring Again"

“Come Spring, Again,” the annual Alan Kirkbride Memorial Poetry Gathering is focused on celebrating National Poetry Month. It will be Saturday, Apr. 26 from 6:30 - 10 p.m. Doors open at 6 p.m. Experience the magic of poetry and storytelling through the words of Internationally Acclaimed John Roedel and Western Music Association's "Female Poet of the Year", Susie Knight, along with Wyoming Poet Laureate, Barbara Smith, and Regional Favorites Mandie Hines, Dan Kirkbride and Leif Swanson. These poets will perform a variety of poetry styles, bringing the art of the spoken word to the Cheyenne community and beyond, in honor of the late Alan Kirkbride’s love of poetry. There will be a charcuterie table and cash bar as well as other refreshments.
